Innovative Symbioses in Architectural Education is an event related to ARCHI.MED.ES research project. About the Project;
The archi-med.es project is an experiment. It is an initiative to (re)consider, through the collaboration among schools of architecture, professional bodies and interdisciplinary teams, the education of the architects in the Mediterranean and European South (MED.ES).
We were invited to tutor a team of students from 6 countries from the Mediterranean area in a project related to the theme of Local+Global. That was quite an interesting experience and a very intriquing and stimulating issue to respond to.
After the workshop we participated in the International Coloquium (hosted by UPC-ETSAV) that brought together educators from the field of architecture to discuss the singularity of architectural education in the Mediteranean area under the issue of the Local+Global emerging condition. Moras Antonios also presented the paper he cowrote with prof. C.V. Spiridonidis (AUTh) entitled Syn+ about the two urban design studions they co-tutored from 2012-2014 that participated in the ADU_2020 translatlantic programme.
